The fair is over for another year and I am thrilled to report that 2012 was a huge success. This success was due to people like you, our volunteers, community partners and corporate sponsors who believe in us and our goals. The mandate of the Schomberg Agricultural Society is to educate the participants and the community and those attending our events about agriculture while providing a family fun event.
With each of you…our corporate sponsors, and volunteers we reached these goals and met our mandate. Many of you have been with the Fair board as in a volunteer capacity or a corporate sponsor since the beginning of time. For those of you who have stood by us year after year..THANK YOU! To those of you who have just come on board in the more recent years…THANK YOU too! I cannot say enough thank you’s to express my gratitude for your continued dedication to the Schomberg Agricultural Society. Your dedication to the Agricultural Society gives our the membership the reassurance that we are on the right track.
Improvements for 2012
This past year Corporate Sponsorship money has allowed us to make some great strides in improving our fair grounds. We increased the size of our Derby Pit which allowed us to put on a bigger and better show. We added a new and improved Barn at the North end of the grounds. This feature turned out to be a highlight of the Fair.
Without our corporate sponsors and our dedicated volunteers, these projects would have not come to life. Thank you for making our 2012 dreams come true.
As your president of the Schomberg Agricultural Society, I would like to personally thank you for your dedication to and passion for the Schomberg Agricultural Society. The gifts of your services, time and talents are truly appreciated. The key to our continued success rests with people like you who embody the spirit of greatness by saying, “Yes I can”, and follow through on your promise to DO IT!

Drop by our Farmers Market (every 2nd Saturday starting June 9th, 2012) at the Schomberg Agricultural Fairground this summer for your farm fresh vegetables and fruits.
