The 9th Annual Farm Tour offers a variety of farming to fit our theme of Promoting Agricultural From the Ground Up. Saturday March 9th, 2013 from 10 am to 3 pm you be the driver of your vehicle, tickets $10.00 per vehicle. Purchase your ticket, follow the map and travel our local area to visit the exquisite stable of a Thoroughbred Race Horse Farm, the Vegetable processing plant and learn how to stock your refrigerator from the coming harvest. See first hand the horse that dances to music, with many hours of training that leads up to the breathtaking synchronization with the horse and rider. Learn about the life of the bee, how the honey making process unfolds, and take advantage of the opportunity to purchase their by-products.
On the day of the tour you may obtain a ticket at the Schomberg Community Hall, 325 Main Street Schomberg. Plus lunch is offered at the Hall; enjoy a Hot Dog, Homemade Soup and or Chili. For the first time this year we have the tickets designated by a coloured dot indicating where to start the tour. This is only a suggestion however, your cooperation would be appreciated as we hope this assists with the limited parking area at the farms.
Dress Warm – Wear your Boots – Breath the fresh Air – and Have Fun on the Farm!
