Junior Beef Cattle Show – Classes 48-49

Junior Showmanship Class

 

The Champion and Reserve Champion Show person from Both the Beef and Dairy Classes will compete for Overall Junior Show person of the Schomberg Fair.

The Champion Show person will receive a prize to be determined at Fair time.

The Reserve show person will receive a prize to be determined at Fair time.

  • Cattle must be on the grounds by 9:30 a.m. and REMAIN until 4:00 p.m.

CFIA Tags

Please be aware that all livestock must arrive with CFIA tags, they are to be tagged before they leave the farm. Should they arrive without tags, and the Inspectors discover this, you are putting Yourself at risk of a $1300.00 fine, as well as $1300.00 for the trucker and another $1300.00 fine for the S.A.S. The S.A.S. is Not a tagging station for livestock.  Any untagged livestock will not be permitted to show.

Pre-registration required and will be accepted until 10.00 p.m. on MAY 15th, 2024.

An additional fee of $10 will be assigned for any late entries.

Entries will not be accepted after May 22 2024.

Proof of one million dollars liability insurance required and must be produced.

Please refer to General Rules & Regulations at the beginning of this book Cattle must be on the grounds by 8:30 a.m. and remain AT THE FAIR until the conclusion of the show.

NOTE: No wash rack available. No hydro availalbe. PLease wash cattle prior to the show. Generators are required.

Outdoor show – bring canopies if you would like to be covered. Water will be supplied.

For 2024, the Schomberg Fair is introducing online registration for certain exhibitor classes. If you can see this message, you can register for your class online. Follow the instructions below to sign up for your competition on AssistExpo.

How to Enter a Competition Online

  • Step 1: Find your exhibitor class and section on this page.
  • Step 2: Click the link to our Online Entry Form hosted by AssistExpo. If you have used this system before at another fair, log in. If this is your first time, you must create an account by providing your name and contact information. Then, complete your contest registration according to the on-screen instructions. AssistExpo will assign you an Exhibitor number—make sure to save this number along with your username and password.
  • Step 3: After registering, print or save your confirmation message. Collect your printed tags. Remember the date and time your exhibits need to be delivered to the fair.
